Using the travel information
The guides provide editorial travel information and planning context. They are not live operating notices. Opening arrangements, transport, prices, weather, entry rules and reservation requirements can change.
Check the relevant official operator or authority close to travel. You remain responsible for passports, visas, insurance, bookings, health decisions and compliance with local rules.
Trip brief and planning enquiries
Submitting a trip brief is a request for a conversation. It does not create a booking, guarantee that a service is available or commit either side to paid work.
If planning work is offered, its scope, deliverables, timing, communication channel, price, payment terms and cancellation terms must be agreed in writing before work begins.
Service limits
- The website does not provide emergency, medical, legal or immigration services.
- It does not guarantee tickets, reservations, weather, transport operations or access to any venue.
- On-trip help, if offered, follows a separately agreed channel and service window; it is not round-the-clock support.
- Where an activity requires a licensed operator or guide, that service must be provided by an appropriately authorised party.
Third-party bookings and links
Transport companies, hotels, venues, payment services and other third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. A link or recommendation does not make Canton Travel Guide responsible for their service.
Accuracy, corrections and responsibility
Reasonable care is taken with published information, and corrections are welcomed. Travel still involves judgement and changing conditions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website is not liable for loss caused by relying on outdated third-party information or by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Original writing, layout and illustrations may not be republished commercially without permission. Third-party photographs remain subject to the creator and licence shown in the relevant credit record.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the website or planning service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
