About this place

Qinghui Garden (清暉園) in Daliang is a Lingnan garden of timber halls, courts and garden sequences. Its location makes it a coherent heritage chapter before the nearby food streets.

It keeps Shunde from collapsing into “only restaurants.” The garden gives architectural and landscape context before the meal becomes the whole story.

It is walkable to the main Daliang snack geography. This itinerary therefore connects Qinghui → Huagai instead of adding a distant shopping mall.

As one of the classic Lingnan gardens, it pairs with Liang Garden in Chancheng as two different days—not two stops on one rushed afternoon.

Garden overview

Compact Lingnan garden architecture

A workable Shunde day puts Qinghui first: compact Lingnan courts, then Huagai Road and a long meal window. Check the museum’s current admission notice before setting out.

05 · Visit tips

How a visit usually unfolds

A practical visit order and pace—not a full-day itinerary.

  1. 01

Metro: Foshan Line 3 toward Daliang Zhonglou (大良鐘樓), then follow current station signs toward Qinghui Road. From Guangzhou, budget a real transfer morning—not a leftover hour.

  2. 02

Arrive mid-morning (about 10:00). Walk courts slowly for 1.5–2.5 hours, then leave a long lunch window immediately after.

  3. 03

After the garden: walk toward Huagai pedestrian streets for snacks and dinner. Optional Shunfengshan only if you still have energy.

Practical notes

  • Leaving Zumiao late will erase the garden—Shunde needs its own day shape.
  • Check the day’s last-admission notice; do not treat the garden as a leftover late-afternoon stop.
  • Weekend queues for popular milk shops after the garden are normal—build buffer.

Nearby

  • Daliang food streets (Huagai / Jinbang area) for the meal chapter.
  • Optional: Shunfengshan Park as a green cooldown.
  • Do not add Xiqiao the same night.
