01
Leave hotel → road transfer to Xiqiao
Do not assume Zumiao-style metro-to-gate convenience. The road transfer can take well over an hour from some city bases, so check live traffic and leave a generous margin.
Includes about 75 minutes of transfer time
- 09:30
02
Gate: entry, shuttle, choose one loop
Confirm live entry path, any reservation code, and whether you need a shuttle ticket. Pick one loop for the whole day—do not try to “collect” every named pavilion.

- 10:15
03
Main trail / forest segment
Walk for the mountain: shade, slopes, viewpoints. Carry water. Shorten the loop early if heat builds.

- 12:30
04
Lunch in a practical service area
Eat where you already are. A simple meal beats descending and re-entering for a “better” restaurant.

- 14:00
05
Shorter afternoon segment
Continue only if energy and weather allow. Keep the Guanyin decision open until you know how you feel.

- 15:00
06
Optional Nanhai Guanyin
Only with 1–2 hours left and a safe descent afterward. Exposed steps need sun protection. Skip without guilt.

- 16:30
07
Begin descent / exit logistics
Leave margin for shuttle queues and road traffic back to the city. Do not aim for a tight evening train.

- 19:00
08
Simple dinner near the hotel
No Shunde banquet, no night Zumiao show. Sleep is part of the itinerary.
