The viewpoint reveals the peninsula's two-sided geography in a way ground-level beach visits cannot.

How to plan the visit

Choose your exact hotel or 港口休闲渔港 as the road destination before leaving Huidong South station. The peninsula still needs a substantial road transfer, and the eastern and western bays are different places to stay; ask for the hotel’s Chinese address rather than searching only 双月湾.

If the Daxingshan viewpoint is open, ask the accommodation or visitor centre about the permitted approach and return before going uphill. The view involves a climb, not a drive straight to a beach chair. We have not confirmed a current step-free route or a guaranteed vehicle service to the top.

After the viewpoint, return to the same hotel-side beach or harbour area rather than repeatedly crossing the peninsula. We suggest one viewpoint and one beach area in a day, with a named restaurant and an agreed road pickup. Turtle Bay is a separately managed reserve, not a free extension of the viewpoint walk.
