Happy Valley Shenzhen: Tickets, Rides & Metro Access

Shenzhen Happy Valley is the OCT choice for rides. It is not Happy Harbor in Bao’an, and a trip here should begin with checking which attractions your group can and wants to ride. Give it a day, then make room for queues and breaks instead of trying to combine it with both neighbouring theme parks.

Why visit Happy Valley Shenzhen

The current Nanshan visitor information lists rides such as Warrior Hammer, Sunset Flying Car and Phantom Motorcycle. Rather than promise every named ride, use the operator’s daily closures and safety signs to make the final choice.

The Mini World-themed area and Mini Planet family zone give families options beyond the headline thrill rides. Check their own height and accompaniment rules too; a family label is not permission for every child to use every attraction.

How to visit

  1. 01

Pick the rides that meet everyone’s restrictions before joining the first long queue.

  2. 02

Start with the group’s strongest preference, then take a calmer break before another intense ride.

  3. 03

Check the Metro return and leave enough energy for the walk out of the park.

What fits nearby

  1. 01

OCT Loft is a gentler separate café-and-gallery outing.

  2. 02

Window of the World is the nearby alternative for landmark replicas. Decide between its sightseeing and Happy Valley’s rides before buying two park tickets.

Buy for eligible rides, not just age categories

Ticket categories and ride eligibility answer different questions. A younger visitor may need a child ticket but still be too short for the ride they most want. Check height, accompanying-adult and health conditions on the official ride information before making Happy Valley the main family day.

04

Give the rides their own day

Window of the World and Splendid China are close in the OCT district, but each has substantial walking and its own admission. Save them for another day if their subjects interest you. A second ticket rarely helps when the first park’s queues have already used most of the afternoon.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Happy Valley the same as Happy Harbor?

No. Happy Valley is the OCT amusement park in Nanshan. Happy Harbor is the Bao’an waterfront destination with the observation wheel.

Is Maya Beach open all year?

Treat it as seasonal and check the current operator notice for your date and ticket.

How do I get to Happy Valley by Metro?

Use Window of the World station, then follow the Happy Valley entrance directions. Window of the World is also a separate park name, so check that your walking destination is Shenzhen Happy Valley.
