Nanshan waterfront
Choose one part of Shenzhen Bay, not the whole coastline
Shenzhen Bay Park follows roughly 13 kilometres of shoreline and connects with Talent Park and other waterfront sections. A useful visit is not an attempt to finish the map. Choose either an open coastal walk or the Houhai skyline around Talent Park, then set a clear exit near dinner or your hotel.

01
Why visit Shenzhen Bay Park
The official park description connects fourteen themed areas along roughly 13 kilometres of coast and links them with walking and cycling systems. That scale is the reason to choose a section, not an invitation to finish the whole line.
The park also brings ecological shoreline, ordinary exercise and the metropolitan skyline into the same public space. Its value comes from having time to sit and look, so a timetable packed with distant stops works against the place.
02
How to shape the visit
- 01
Choose the final exit first: dinner, hotel or the Metro station that should end the walk.
- 02
Start two or three kilometres away and walk in one direction, leaving time to sit before sunset.
- 03
Stop when weather or energy changes. The next waterfront section can remain for another day.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which part of Shenzhen Bay Park should I visit?
Choose Talent Park for Houhai skyline and an easy evening finish. Choose the central shoreline for a longer open-water walk. Fix the exit before selecting the starting point.
Can I walk all of Shenzhen Bay Park?

Is Shenzhen Bay Park free and when does it open?
General park access is free. The current official schedule is 06:00 to 23:00; individual facilities and services keep separate hours.
