Panyu · a separate Lingnan day

Baomo Garden and Shawan Ancient Town in one day

Leave central Guangzhou for one coherent Panyu day: begin at the farther Lingnan garden, keep lunch unhurried, then read the old town before returning east.

Timings include walking, transfers, waiting, wayfinding, meals and about 20% buffer.

Shawan and Baomo Garden belong to the same southern Guangzhou travel scale, but they are not a continuous citywalk.

The day only works when the metro approach, local road transfer, meals and return journey are all included.

Recheck before travel

  • Recheck both sites' live opening and ticket arrangements before leaving the hotel.
  • Do not append a dense central-city evening; delays in Panyu should consume the buffer, not the return meal.
  • In extreme heat or heavy rain, visit one site deeply instead of rushing both.
