Walk 1 · Chen Clan Hall to Shamian

Begin after the venue opens.

Finish near Huangsha or Cultural Park.

    Chen Clan Hall

    Start from Chen Clan Academy metro and the museum entrance. Book the required visit session; allow about 90 minutes for the courtyards and roof ceramics.

    Lunch and Lychee Bay

    After lunch, take a taxi or local transit to the Lychee Bay/Liwan Lake entrance. Chen Clan Hall and Lychee Bay are not adjoining gates; save your longer walk for the Enning Road–Shamian section.

    Enning Road and Yongqing Fang

    Walk Enning Road through Yongqing Fang, then continue towards Huangsha and cross the signed pedestrian access onto Shamian. Stop for a drink along the way; this is an afternoon walk with breaks.

    Finish with shade and one river edge.

Walk 2 · Nanyue to Beijing Road

Start with the reserved museum session.

Finish near Beijing Lu station.

    Nanyue King Museum

    Use Yuexiu Park Exit E for the Tomb Site at 867 Jiefang North Road. It normally closes on Mondays. The underground chamber has a separate reservation, so ordinary admission alone does not guarantee access below.

    Keep a full hour before the outdoor section.

    Memorial hall or park edge

    Choose the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall near Dongfeng Middle Road, or a short Yuexiu Park walk. Continue by metro or taxi towards Gongyuanqian before walking Beijing Road; the museum-to-Beijing Road journey need not all be on foot.

    Beijing Road

    Follow the old axis into evening commerce.

Walk 3 · Huacheng Square and the Pearl River

Begin about two hours before sunset; shift the example times below to the season.

Finish near a north-bank metro station, or check the latest transport notices before taking the metro to the south bank.

    Huacheng Square

    Start at Zhujiang New Town metro and walk south through Huacheng Square towards the Guangdong Museum exterior and river. This walk does not require a museum reservation unless you also go inside.

    Haixinsha and the north-bank river edge

    Keep the route complete on the north bank; a pedestrian bridge is an optional live-condition bonus, not a dependency.

    Blue hour

    Let the skyline change before deciding whether to take the metro for a south-bank view or paid tower visit.

  4. 20:00

    04

    Dinner near the final metro

    End without retracing the whole riverfront.
